We know moving house can be one of the most stressful things you’ll ever do so we will try and make things as easy as possible for you during your removal and the whole process. With the PODS late key waiver option there is no need to worry about delays gaining access to your new property.
No one likes delays
There can be delays beyond our control with solicitors, banks and estate agents and hold ups gaining access to the property or collecting keys. This is why we offer our late key waiver.
The Late Key Waiver is designed to save you stress and money in the event that the removal team cannot gain access to your new house by 1pm on moving day (or an alternative time agreed in writing). Normally we charge £60.00 per hour if your removal team is kept waiting after 1pm at your new property. Our late key waiver gives you the flexibility of a two hour time window for only £70.00. This means your crew will wait up to 2 hours from 1pm while access is granted or until the crew’s working hours are up according to the working time directive up until 7pm.
For £70.00 the late key waiver gives you two added hours for peace of mind should there be a delay in accessing your new property you will not incur any further costs.
Please note if delays are significant (longer than 3 hours) we may not be able to finish completing your removal on that day due to working time laws for our staff.

We also offer a postponement/cancellation waiver for all removals to give you peace of mind. Once booked and paid – your booking is secure and you can change your date if you need to with no fees once, even with just 24 hours notice.
